2.4952 – NiCr20TiAl -Nimonic® 80A

A nickel-chromium alloy, which is similar to NIMONIC 75, yet precipitation hardenable with the addition of aluminum and titanium. The alloy displays good corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as high tensile and creep strength at temperatures of up to 815°C.  It is used for gas turbine parts (blades, rings and discs), screws and pipe support in nuclear steam generators, as well as for die-cast inserts, cores and as exhaust valves in internal combustion engines.
