Cutting machine operator CNC milling / turning (m/f/d)
Tasks
- You mainly machine hand-heavy parts in small and medium series
- You operate and monitor state-of-the-art CNC machines
- You set up the machines independently according to specifications, check the manufactured parts for dimensional accuracy and monitor the processing
- You contribute your own ideas for improving our processes
- You are quality-conscious and a team player
- You are interested in further professional development
Your Profile
- You have completed a vocational training qualification in the field of machining
- You have good knowledge in handling CNC controls, preferably of the Heidenhain TNC 530 / TNC 630 or Fanuc brand, and you can make small program changes independently. If you can already do more, all the better.
- You have experience on 5-axis milling machines; this would be desirable
- You are flexible, take initiative and display a high degree of responsibility

This is what you will learn during your training:
- Reading technical documents like construction drawings
- Programming CNC-controlled machine tools and setting up machines and systems
- Manufacturing precision parts from metal by machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling or grinding
- Clamping workpieces, monitoring work processes and carrying out mechanical, optical and thermal work
- Maintenance of machines and systems
- Performing quality controls
- Documentation of work and results
- Training contents are imparted in a very practical manner and on state-of-the-art CNC machines
- Insight into other companies in our training network
You should satisfy these requirements:
- A secondary school leaving certificate (Secondary Modern School or Extended Secondary Certificate of Education)
- Good grades in manual crafts/technology
- Sound craftmanship
- Technical understanding
